In 1981, Highlander Energy was started as a small family owned heating contracting company operating in the local Kane, PA area. Quality work and competitive, profitable pricing have been the key ingredients for sustained, steady growth over the years. Now we have grown into a company which specializes in the power industry, pulp and paper industry, and petro-chem industry. We are also a code shop and can perform work under R-Stamp standards.

Highlander Energy is a merit shop company with an excellent work force and maintains the philosophy of teaching our employees to be multi-craft, thus eliminating the need for several individual crafts. Recently we have completed serveral major projects, assuming the role as general contractor performing electrical and civil work. We currently have a work force of 130 craftsman on the payroll with a call in list in excess of 250 craftsman. We are the areas only mechanical contractor able to perform large plant shut downs. We have an excellent safety record and an on going training program for all of our employees.
